Transient Openness

This blog is a collaboration between the Flock Hill leaseholder and the NZ Alpine Club. We'll use it to announce climbing access to Flock Hill. The first announcement is that tentatively, the hill is open. [Since this post things have changed and permission must be sought beforehand.]

Please check flockhill.blogspot.com before heading up. Assume its closed unless you check here and see otherwise. If you do not have internet access then ask a friend who does to check for you.

Access is by foot. Enter the property where the farm track meets the highway just west of Parapet rock. Do not enter from the Cave Stream reserve parking.

Go climb a rock boulder!
